I'm hearing rumblings of a new larger layoff coming up next month. Does anyone have any idea of what business segments will be impacted? Joel Osteen aka Rick seems to be channeling his McKinsey lessons from the get go

RW is actually pretty nice, it's the old guard you have to be wary of. Time for a lot of the Boomers to retire!!
@mc should we assume 60 days from dec 31? week of oct 27? any one heard a specific date???
Don't follow. Yes, almost certainly a 2025 large layoff. But health care costs as trigger? The long term plan is to move employees to a stipend and external coverage.
Due to a big spike in health insurance premiums costs, layoffs will spike in the Oct-Dec timeframe this year
@hw I hope I get laid off with severance lol.

I seem to recall someone buying sneakers for Walt at one time and Chuck. Maybe, since they're sneakers, it's a subliminal jab at all of them.
@OP I am not in a position to be a part of real intel, but from my friends above me (directors+) are saying layoffs will be quarterly going forward, not monthly. Though they are still unsure of the size of the one last week; it was at minimum 35 with mostly Directors, but IDK the true size and I saw people at the Associate level being cut at the same time.
When we talk about the footwear in this thread, that is probably in relation to BM being on stage with RW last fall, talking about his... was it "professional browns" sneakers? Like the men before him wearing fun ties or fun socks, shoes are the new "I'm cool and human, just like you" way to connect. BM seems like a really nice dude, and I cannot fault him for shooting his shot to move up and make connections. But if anyone purchased RW footwear or if he decided to relax his professional shoes to seem more hip-to-the-people... gross.
No way Osteen doesn't return money or anything from the coffers once it's been added to the collection plate
@OP does anyone know more about how some employee bought sneakers for him so that he (Rick) would be more relatable? If that employee gets laid off will Rick return the sneakers?
