At the very least, it shows that few people have any confidence in what’s ahead, from how the layoffs will be handled and RTO forced through, to what things will look like once the dust settles. I’m really curious what the final total of opt-outs will be.

The employees who are able to retire and don't, so newer people get laid off - usually croak a year or two after they do retire. CBS employees know this is true
