MilliporeSigma still has open positions and has a decent work culture. I started there about a year ago.
I do wonder if this is meant to deliberately increase voluntary attrition. Why would they be so desperate to throw people back into the office during the holidays? Asking people to come in MORE than before the pandemic even started? There aren't enough desks in a lot of office locations, it's chaos. Why wouldn't they wait until the new year and come up with a better plan?
I'm guessing they want to drive people away before layoffs.
