It was the place, you know? Now everyone I talk to here sounds drained and bitter. It’s wild how fast a reputation can flip when leadership stops caring about quality.

Indian dream = IIT, H1, Cisco, Indian manager and colleagues (same caste of course), house in Fremont, Tesla, UC stem for kids, annual vacation to NDA with gifts to relatives to show off, retire back in India.
Reality ...
Podunk u, Indentured servitude, 100year GC backlog, WITCH staff Aug to Cisco, townhouse in RTP, Nissan Altima, Americanized kids major in lib arts, despise NDN 3rd world culture, defrauded by homecountryman of your retirement home in NDA , relatives get jealous and entitled, laid off by 50, back in India unemployed.
Is that right?
Stop blaming working class indians for taking advantage of a system that is skewed towards them and against domestic US labor. Instead blame government policy and the corporate tendency towards lowering costs by any means available in order to maximize shareholder profit as much as possible.
We're all trapped in this terrible system together and we're too busy pointing fingers at each other instead of getting upset at the real enemy. It's a race to the bottom and the only people really benefiting from this are laughing at our in-fighting.
Cisco is rudderless. The rot starts at the top.
all things to all people is nothing to nobody.
"AI AI AI AI AI AI " is the battle cry and it is a joke
And I used to dream of Jeannie. We all were misled @OP
All good but "the work" is not there -mostly cutting the corners every time when possible
Work and "very happy" did not seem to go well in the same sentence ...maybe "skip work" whenever possible
Sorry but that is my impression.
wow - the racism is pathetic. just leave then stop the whining.
