PL Sounds Nervous

BO Division Touch Point Call: Remarks are indicative of someone who's been reading this forum and is panicking.
He's on the defensive. We, the workers are in control of the narrative here. Do you trust the person, who makes hundreds of thousands/year off the backs of us workers, to be fair and objective? Or do you trust all the workers, who are in the trenches doing the work of three, to tell it like it is here?

Anyone also notice how many times when a female asks a question he calls her "Dear"? His comments to his staff are truly cringe-worthy.

Indeed PL does! And, HR is in the room when PL does it. One can only assumed the behavior is sanctioned, though, for the life of me, I have no idea why? It should never be allowed.

PL drops 1000 curse words every meeting he is in. How is this not being punished??

I was always thinking PL is the captain of the customer experience titanic but now I am convinced he's the iceberg.

PL should be nervous. Definitely not just following orders. Going well past the ask, at every turn, with no idea of the implications. When one only listens to themself, or leaders that dare not question you, the outcomes are generally not good.

Body count dropped more than 100 just last week. As far as PL, all he cares about is his paycheck and how he looks to HP and FB.

To the poster: PL is not doing what he is told. I have sat with him many a times at clients and for a beer. He thinks clients will love not talking with reps on the phone. He wants to work lean and military like. Just like where he gained his influence. He knows strong talk gets him followers.

PL is doing what he is told from his superiors. I doubt he enjoys laying people off.

Who cares about stock price when the service is junk because everyone is gone. Stock price is a near term gauge. Won’t be so nice when renewals are not done.

At the end, they’ll replace workers with the self service model as well as offshore resources; it’s Typical Fortune 500 behaviour. One of the leaders stated we need to figure more with less headcount.

I have zero confidence that senior leaders care about our roles as stakeholders are far more important.

Besides all the platitudes and dud jokes all I noticed is that they predict the head count dropping by over 100 in Q4. I'm not sure if that is that from the previous layoffs or something coming up. No one cares if we work at the 115th largest company or the 200th largest company we care about the margin going up. That margin should be 1% anything higher than that is money taken from our paychecks
