@az Spot On.....worked for FIS ( India, Pune ) for 7 years & echo the same sentiment. middle management & leadership is very very average.
Does anyone know what level took the most cut this time ? juniors once again or mid-senior level tenured employees ( hidden under individual contributors, directors, and managers ) ?

Pune office has just too many tenured directors & senior leadership. ( old furniture) who has myopic view & never seen outside world. Just pure resource managers, with zero business value add besides managing resources and filling reports ( and of course, they acted like boss and performed very important tasks like checked timesheets, in/out swipe reports, online status of employees, wrote lengthy feedbacks etc. )
Yes, they are hiring ants and other insects instead
