I was laid off in April … of 2024. I never got another job despite applying for 400+ ads, networking, promoting myself, and doing all the meaningless cr-p the experts say you’re supposed to do.
I’m now officially a b-m - I mean, I’m officially retired. Fu-k Nike. I chucked all of the junk I bought at the company store in the trash. Never buying another product from them again. This b-m’s wearing Saucony from now on.

I’m still on the hunt but I’ve had a few runner up scenarios. It’s tough out there and I’ve been looking out of state as well.
Highly considering go back into Nike if the right opportunity comes about out of this reorg. This time it’s supposed to be about growth rather than cuts. I’ll guess we’ll see in a few weeks on the career site.

I was Laid off the first round of 2024 and still looking. Not limited to Portland or this industry. Only been able to secure a few short term contracts at 30% of my prior pay to get by.
I was anticipating before June layoffs. My manager and I were not working great together. Got laid off but had a new job already lined up. Some of my peers who were laid off in Jun are still looking.
