I just got the email from Empower, yet when I go to click the link to ‘Take a look at my personal investment’ it forces me to download the app and does not allow me to just use the web browser.
I refuse to download an app just to look at my account.
Do better.

What do non employees do that can’t ‘just access the 401k link’ since they don’t have access any more?
And this folks is why WF needs to "cull the herd" no critical thinking to find an alternative solution to their "problem" just wants to complain...
The 40k link is available everyday to all employees, lazy.

Just use the 401k link. Voila. Nothing to download. That was a hard problem to solve.
