Yep, it's code for we lost our a-s and we need to recover. Newest freaking bo-b is there's a huge (with a $B) loss in the tech space (not business) and leadership is being asked how we can recover. Yet, other areas have $$ to spend and can't figure out how to spend it. This company needs an en--a - Steve, that is directed at you. It ain't a layoff in your core tech support teams, they are barely hanging on as it is man. The last round of layoffs, devastated many areas and they can't keep up with demand for new features, innovation to support growth, war rooms because let's face it, less people = more mistakes and less skilled people = more mistakes. Fix your leadership and the rest will fix itself.
AI should HELP us, not REPLACE us. We manage people and their healthcare, not the the lighting system in one of Steve's many homes.
Was anyone who accepted the VRSP get the November date ? I know most people I seen date was May 1st.
@a1 why would they do that with the most busy time of year? Member services I would guess would not be layed off due do that but who knows anymore. Never would be shocked with a large company like this.
"Difficult" decisions corporate code for layoffs. Add in the AI first Healthcare company means less actual human employees. Now where/who/what dept is anyone's guess.
I completely agree with your point about the increasing push for AI technology, which unfortunately seems to lead to more layoffs in our industry. There's a strong sense of anticipation as we approach the third quarter, and many of us are feeling uneasy about the potential implications. Management has repeatedly emphasized the importance of utilizing our paid time off (PTO) and personal leave days, perhaps as a way to mitigate the stress and uncertainty that many employees are experiencing right now. It's becoming increasingly clear that we need to be mindful of our well-being during this challenging period.
no need to be delusional, it’s obvious large layoff (likely before or around December) will happen
