I got a calendar invite for 30mins EOD at 5pm and it’s for 30mins. I haven’t experienced layoffs before.
Any advice to what I should expect going into this would be helpful. What does a typical layoff calendar invite title look like?

That was the format I got last year. Don't take it lying down, tell them to f off. I wish I did.
wonder if all of the exit convo already happened today or throughout the week?
Nope. LT + HR. 30 mins. Laid off.
No idea what the difference is between 15 min and 30 min meetings

@OP I got the same invite. Just VP no Hr in the invite. HR jointly separately and I got laid off.
@a9 sport offense activation touch base
whats the title of your meeting
Then likely you all are being told about new org together, not layoffs. Layoff would be 1:1
I hope things work out for you @OP and anyone else affected this week.
@a3 Sounds like a team shift or just stabilizing the team, not a role change.
if only they could title the meeting appropriately to avoid such speculation, especially since we are being asked to wait until EOD to learn about it.
It’s a layoff or demotion convo.
Peers/manager on the call is strange. Could be that your team will be sitting elsewhere in the structure.
What if there are 2 colleagues plus an SD on the same call? never seen that before
@OP this could be a layoff or a restructuring conversation. If it’s a restructuring conversation, they will sometimes offer you a severance package option if the restructure does not meet your needs. The important thing is to collect all the information and take your time to review it before signing anything. They won’t be able to answer many questions in the meeting itself. That can happen afterward via email.
Morning meetings are usually lay offs and afternoon and next day meetings usually new positions
