@d8 they can also see when and where you sign on (from computer vs phone). Or review cameras.

Also you shouldn’t be “tailgating” to come in or out. You can get fired for that as well.

This isn’t speculation. I’m in a management role and have full access to this data.

@cy Some buildings don’t badge out. Also, when multiple people arrive at the same time, they don’t all badge in.

@cy Well if you are to be at work at a certain time and are not...your kinda doing it to yourself. Badge in on time n out on time. I'm sure that if the company wants to fire you they'll fire you. The timesheet n ba----g in n out is their way of supporting the firing without a lawsuit coming their way for wrongful termination.

They are going to do a review of your badge in / out and coding of time sheets for those that work remote one day a week. Looking for more ways to cut people.

@cj do you have the email about it being outsourced? Can you submit a tip to a local journalist and send a picture of the email? You can download signal, send the picture to yourself, then download the image to remove EXIF data. We need to sound the alarm

I noticed that call center roles, Agile teams, and DEI groups were among those affected by the layoffs. Is this work primarily related to distribution or services? From what I understand, the real revenue driver for the company is in transmission.

@c0 always been on it with this new leadership but as long as FE pays dividend no one cares. I forgot, is it Tierney or Tyranny?

These people are all crooks. They are not just laying us off but they are outright firing us for things that otherwise would be a first offense write up. Do not trust your supervisors. Don't forget that management changed our PIRC scores this year vs the way it was done in the past. It was convenient that consistent high performers were downgraded this year to Satisfactory. Don't think that wasn't on purpose so they didn't have to give higher merit increases before the spring layoffs.

I hope some of the employees in the Akron and Fairmont Call Centers see this. Be prepared. You are next. You have been working 50 hours plus a week to meet regulatory requirements. Have you seen new training classes? The answer is no. Have you seen your co-workers and friends quit or get fired for things that normally would not be a termination offense. Yes. Moral su-ks and you are on pins and needles since the new regime (Aka Vice President Stephen) took over a year and a half or so so. I promise you......WE ALL NEED TO UNIONIZE. UNION UNION UNION. Advocate for yourselves. It won't get better. Let's meet outside of work to make it happen.

@bq Ichan came first, then left to start the same process at AEP. Only a matter of time before they announce the merger.

@a6 It would not surprise me in the lease. It's no coincidence that Brian X came from Blackstone. What was it?, 2021, when Blackstone bought into FirstEnergy's transmission business at 49 percent. Then this tu-d just so happens to swoop in even after Blackstone was awarded spots on the Board of Directors. If Blackstone was already in process of acquisition of TXNM I'd say the sale would be to them. Tierney was definitely brought in to sell FE off. I hope the guy gets a-s cancer.

Be prepared, they are setting up the company to be sold. Either in whole or by states.

The entire agile team is gone, along with a number of HR folks; I've heard over 100 people in total. Evidence points to IT getting hit tomorrow as well.
