How to deal with a situation where the mgr is very laid back, not helpful at all. Because of this the entire team been sidelined many times within the org not giving enough credit for the work, focal allotments, career progression etc. Director is simply ignoring the situation and replying only to meme emails :) what a joke.

Common across all team. Management is very laid back and immune to rifs.

This is exactly what is happening in the product support org under MS. Dir or mgr fav takes all the benefits. No cleanup at the mgmt level. For the time being the only option is to move on.
