Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Isn’t BYOD+ investor fraud??

Isn’t incentivizing customers to add new phone lines of service that they don’t need/want, that they are providing for no monthly charge, while giving them a larger discount on their upgraded device, and reporting them as new customer adds on our quarterly report fraud???

@OP it's a desperate move by Hans to add more growth when the damage has been done!! Customer are happily going to Tmobile and Verizon continues to struggle!! They advertise low priced plans on TV and customers walk out high priced quotes!! Instructed By the GM and AMs to add perks, VZ home & Insurance!

I had a poor foreign guy come in just today expecting to trade in his phone.

Turns out he did byod+. I said, do you understand you added this line and it will increase your bill?

He said, no.

Being on the frontline is hard because you see the reality of it. There is a proper way to do business–this isn’t it. This microcosm of mistakes is sad.

Haven't pitched this awful promo once. Whoever is slamming this, get ready for the charge backs on the zero usage "new line" which will inevitably be canceled.
