While it may be true for some groups, IselIn/nj is not considered a hub or Ny alternative for all. I was working out of Iselin and my position was “eliminated” in May after 32 years because I was unwilling to commute to NYC where I was told all NJ Public Affairs employees needed to be. No way was a 4+ hour round trip commute in my cards. Now they have posted my position as a higher level w one potential location in nyc. It’s all BS.

Iselin, NJ is India central. Drive down Oak Tree Rd. In Iselin and you are transported to New Delhi. Maybe that's why
NYC and NJ have been "core" locations for a while-- in direct opposition to what they were a few years ago when it was a "do not hire" location due to salary. Cue Dillon era and his cohorts and the NYC hiring spree was on. With Charlie being there and a big FU to moving, they're gonna keep it as a location.
@a2 F U, you arrogant pr--k.
Metro Park is part of the NYC metro or CBSA area. Also includes Purchase area, Long Island and other parts of NJ
Is there a listing somewhere of all the core locations? I can't find one.
@a2 the troll does not realize half these people in NC are from NY and NJ
When the Palace at Hudson Yards was deemed to be only for the elite and the worker bees needed a new home.
We are paying top dollar for a bunch of NYC talent, and the value of the company has gone down since. 'top talent' indeed.
It falls within the NYC Metro region you bag of spoiled milk. They are tired of you rubes in NC, IA and wherever else you whispey farts were inherited from and are hiring in locations with more top talent.
