Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

How long will this layoff process last?

Have I understood this correctly, that this will be happening over the next three days? I haven’t been invited to any ZOOM meetings today and I don’t see anything on my schedule for this week, but I’m not very hopeful.
Does anyone know are they already done with scheduling ZOOM meetings or will some people be informed about their meeting time tomorrow or next day?

If you survive this round, there will be another around the earnings call, Feb 13ish. They hope this round will scare enough people to leave on their own so they can save on their severance payments. But trust the next round is coming soon.

It's usually about a week or less but happens every year

They will probably last as long as every C-Suite Exec's bonus for 2022's hard work is accounted for.

If you don't receive a zoom invite by 8am tomorrow morning (wed), I would say you are safe....until the next layoffs

You get the meeting request the day of the discussion. Them sending out the meeting request on Monday for Wednesday is more inhumane than they're willing to be. (Or they're keeping the rumors to a dull roar.)

Zoom meetings go out the day off the discussion. Sending it on Monday only for you to stress about it for two days is more inhumane than they're willing to be.

I would think if you are getting invited for a zoom call, they would invite you the day of so you are not expecting it
