Is Centerwell on the chopping block? I was thinking about applying. Any comments regarding working conditions? It seems all of Humana is a mess.

@k9 who at CW was offered the early retirement? The one manager left but she is getting a whole lot more in her severance package before erp.
Do not ! Worst place ever! I think they may be shocked in how many took the early retirement. We all want out !
Do NOT !! Your premonition is right: THIS PLACE IS A MESS! I wish we could show you!
Humana is not good. Centerwell may offer more stability but it is a terrible experience to work for Centerwell. I've worked a lot of placed for comparison and this place is a dark cloud. It could be good but it isn't and that's due to the leadership issues that no one wants to address- or are too far removed from what is going on at ground level to do anything about. We have two directors that seem to grow more toxic and stupid by the day and the managers just stroke their egos to survive. It's awkward to see and worse to work under.
This place is nuts. I came from a large hospital system and the expectations they put on managers here is insane. I wish I had known what it was like before I signed on the dotted line. I'm sure front level teams feel it too.
@ah agree with all. constant external hires then lack of basic understanding of ground level work. we educating and re educating and then these same hires leave or blame the old school folks and there are rifs based on this same lack of understanding. then it happens all over again. but you know, dig deep, embrace change so we can all grow. it's beyond abusive and bad for your health.
Please do not do it ! It is a mess! Ont know what you are applying for, but if a nurse… RUN as fast as you can!!!!
Don’t do it!
I have never worked in such a dysfunctional, chaotic, and toxic environment where expectations and workflows are constantly changing. Our leadership is beyond inept. Just don't do it. Everyone here is looking for a way out.
