For those who are not happy that they were not included in the ERP and asking to be RIFed, I wish there was a place that you can volunteer. It’s obvious that you are at that point in your career where you need to move on. That would free up positions for others who like their job, are being a productive associate and would like to continue to work. ERP/RIF is not a happy thought for all.

What upsets me is good people being RIFed over people who don’t work and get to stay. When H did RIFs a few years ago, consultants determined the positions to eliminate it wasn’t based on merit. Appears to be the same here. If management would listen to real people who actually do the work, managers will tell you who is dead weight. Get rid of them!
@a3 feeling this is my sign to take the money and run somewhere new!! Not old enough to retire but if big H doesn't want me, I will certainly find something new and will be happier elsewhere!! H has changed so much during the last few years. Ready to move on and forward with an exhale!!
@a3 I clicked on that button today... Was feeling a little freaked out but your message encouraged me. Thank you
One can be a very productive and happy employee AND still happily accept ERP/RIF. Some people just approach situations differently. I would happily take the RIF, if I had a few years of tenure. I would do so knowing that I could just work more shifts at my per diem job. I never put all of my eggs in one basket.
Even now with all of talk of the ERP/RIF and I am not worried. I'm a nurse, a job can be found anywhere. Even if I don't get RIF'd, depending on what changes happen with the benefits and UM Centralization, I may leave anyway.
I would be happy taking it if it was offered. Workplace is horrible
@aa So am I, almost 30 years but I cannnot afford ERP/RIF.
Those of us who have been here for years are tired of going through RIFs. Humana is obviously mismanaged if RIF occurring every few years.
@a7 this site is not just for those disgruntle people.
@a3 Well said!!
@OP agreed but just to be clear we ARE very productive and empathetic to our patients however, Humana has become a greedy cesspool of liars and gross incompetence from every “ leader “ they pull onboard. I would happily take ERP and give “ my position “ up to anyone who wants to be a part of the Titanic. It IS time to move on and never look back!
