The writing was on the wall for a 27 year veteran at age 51. Stripped of my responsibility and given remedial work by a 30 year old director yes man who went through some leadership program. Doing quality value added work went to satisfying a VP nonsensical demands and meetings deadlines. That a long with show up in the office 5 days a week. Fortunately I plowed it away over the years and the decision was easy. But ATT methods of promotion, cuts, and identifying talent always stumped me. Anyway net worth has gone up 150% in 2 years not having to deal with the ATT nonsense. Life is good and on cruise control for now.

I come here for the entertainment.
"The deadweight will be gone soon."
Don't let the door hit you in the a$$ on the way out!
"I left a tear ago" New Taylor Swift break-up song?
Thanks for your service. Which branch were you in? A, N. AF, or Marines?
Wasted days of desktop sharing boomer derived spreadsheets, PowerPoint slides of corporate drivel widgets have been replaced by generic Ai. Just ask. The deadweight will be gone soon.
Same here. Left 15 months ago. Enjoying life, building a new home and I haven't missed the toxic brew or the new leadership in the CSO, if you can call it leadership. I chuckle reading these posts and see the Stink embarrassing himself on the global stage. I'm grateful for the many good years I had and wonderful colleagues. If you can get out, do so. You won't miss the place.
And yet you're still here. I don't believe things are better for you.
any reason you don't just end it?
A tear ago eh? Sounds like a country & western song.
