Just wondering if layoffs are expected, if not enough took early retirement, and if so, when will we be notified?

@y8 Numbers don't lie and if facts hurt your feelings, I'm here for it! The DEI PROBLEM at Humana is real.
@pv you're exposing your true colors. There's no room for racists like you in Humana. Humana will be much better without people like you.
@n4 agree, the one's ridiculing and belittling others sounds just like management on here. We can only assume it's the same poor leaders here as it is there.
STARS rating do matter 100%. Humana wouldn't have wasted so much $$$ in lawyer fees trying to win their case if it didn't matter so much. Oh, and they didn't win, so that means we all lose in the end.
Age disinformation if they target on age. Tenure. He-l the seasoned employees are the only ones who know how to work.
@pj Humana will not be hitting membership goals for 2026 and putting all the eggs in the Centerwell (DEI) basket is foolish. Centerwell will undo itself organically with the poor leadership and hiring based on skin color. No matter how many good people work in the trenches, they can't even out the failures of leadership and leader physicians who say things like "I'm laid back with a side of hip-hop" when introducing themselves to other leaders.
@kj
STARS is not how we are paid, actually. It is a very lucrative revenue stream but it’s not the end all be all. Humana is still hitting EPS / membership as well as STARS gain within this year. As well as hitting KPI’s for CW’s LOB. 2026/2027 are going to be rough but it can very well be offset deprive on how 2025 goes.
@ks I was thinking the exact same thing. They called the people here incompetent, only to proceed and butcher simple words and sentence structure. This is how my leader acts....lol
@kj How condescending of you to write such a message with such poor use of the English language. I believe it is you needing a 101 class: English 101.
@k9 Stars is how we are paid. So the rating matters.
The level of incompetence on this site of people who doesn't understand business 101. You thinking 10% is a unachievable target, you obviously don't know it, but your VP or SVP is given a savings target every year. 10% or more. They find savings through automation, productivity gains, and yes, RIFs. Some years like Project Growth are more aggressive in these goals.
@e7 Humana has around 60,000 associates, the other 30,000 are contractors. So even if 10% it was right (but seems like an astronomical number in my opinion) then at Max at 6000. 6000 still seems incredibly high for the amount of work and honestly profitability that Humana still has. Regardless of what people are saying on here Humana still an incredibly book of company and an incredibly lucrative sector, and with united basically floundering over their own mistakes, Humana in a position to gain back to market share in the coming years, regardless of the STARs situation.
@e7 Are they going to notify everyone by Oct/Nov or after open enrollment? Is the ERP group a sure thing for RIF if any still here or based on department?
@d7 2000 is the number of ERPs sent out. I think you have your numbers wrong. It's definitely going to be more like 10% or more, thus 8000 to 9000 target
@cv This is not true. The real number is closer to 2k. But anyone sharing on here actually has no idea; there is a small subset who actually know.
@cx heard it's org wide
I've heard looking to RIF 9000 associates. Bleak outlook for 26 and 27.
Hey leaders, here is an idea issue the RIF notices the day before thanksgiving. See that way you can ruin many holidays and destroy families. You can sit back and act like you give a damn. Let’s see how Medicare sales go this year .
RIFs already started last Friday (small and targeted) additional to follow through October.
Sometime in October there will be RIFs
