Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

The banner situation is getting to be a bit much

This situation is getting old. Reps are afraid to open account. Managers are demanding that reps don't open accounts because of vhi and hpu banners. This completely goes against the credo but the id--ts the are making these decisions don't see what we have to deal with on a daily basis. I know everyone is going through this and I don't need anyone chiming in with their 2 cents like duh.... This is for the upper managers to see what we actually have to go through, because I'm sure they read this site more then they read our pulse surveys.

We (upper leadership) already know who’s gaming the reporting and nothing is being done about it. If you have a problem with it, call compliance.

Seems like each generation (2 yrs) of employees thinks the best in Verizon by thinking they can change or verizon will change. Nope, over analyzing reports is why we have so many levels of leaders. We will never allow quantity to win. These people are paid for "quality". Keeping customers and selling things matters less. Its the way it is. Learn how to play the game. If you BS and kiss butt enough you can get promoted.

What needs to be done is a print out of these posts and mass mailed to every store to ALL reps along with managers, directors, the entitled useless ops people and c level execs

The report they review matters, not sales. VLC says that isn't true but "leaders" manage to what gets them heat and the report trumps everything. VZ retail has operated this way for decades. It is what drives people to partake in shady practices.
