This company is evil, and deserves none of your effort. Humana as an organization is replete with claim denials, illegal kickbacks, and fraud. No matter how much they posture, they ultimately don't care about members.
Members aren't the real customer at Humana- the real customer is the US Government, and Humana's ONLY goal is to keep them happy. Why? The Government pays Humana's bills. This company is a complete corporate welfare state, dependent on snagging payouts from CMS, which is why they freak out over things like STARs ratings. Make no mistake- Humana might be paying you, but YOU are paying for Humana's existence in the form of your tax dollars.
If you're ever unfortunate enough be under Humana's care umbrella, then bless your little heart. My Grandpa is a member, and was recently complaining to me about getting a critical eye surgery denied. Love to hear that (sarcasm)!
Humana can't even reasonably claim that they create American jobs, especially not with these inevitable RIFs. What's more is, a huge swath of this company is populated by H1Bs, offshore contractors, and others from India- especially in IT. It seems like their numbers are ever-increasing, too. If you ever find yourself asking why there's so much red tape in IT, just know it's because these sub-par developers have been pushing bad changes for years, to the point that any change is now seen as a major risk.
Just quiet quit and start looking elsewhere. Collect the checks and give them as little as possible in return. This place isn't worth your effort or stress.
