Does anyone know if obesity dr-gs like Wegovy are covered on the plan in Canada?

Wegovy is covered if you have your doctor fill out a preauthorization form. You need to meet certain criteria (ie - BMI) to qualify.
Not for weight loss. Yes for diabetes, but not as a first option for treatment.
Not covered Wegovy or Ozempic. $250 per month - $450 once your dose needs to get increased beyond 1.0.
Sunlife told me no unless diabetic
Yes. Need doctor note for pre approval.
Kinda. My wife is diabetic, and they allowed that to go through with a few letters from the doctor and filling out the Sun Life form. We need to redo the Sun life form every year which is a pain.
I'm fat with no diabetes and they would not approve it, even with a letter from the doctor.
