@v9 You don't need to wait until the separation date to apply for unemployment. If they have already released you and you are just waiting for your last check you can apply now. Also they will pay you out all your unused PTO.
@v9 Apply for unemployment immediately. Its not much but it's something.
@gm I know the technical separation day is 8/7 it also makes it hard cause if your on any kind of cap you can’t switch departments and definitely not untill your severance is done. One of the reps in the employee service center had told me 16 weeks untill I got the paperwork and it said 3 weeks talk about mini heart attack. Being a single mom trying to make ends meet idk what I’m going to do now. There is supposed to be a department who is supposed to reach out to us and help us with our resume and interview skills and stuff but I haven’t heard from anyone yet.
You need to go yall audit our fcr like some bi--hes
@gm yes it is all over the Optum board of the many departments that were hit so sad
Did this lay off ever take place? I have heard nothing on it.
Any future lay off in c and d departments?
Do we know if there will be C&S layoffs in the quality department?
I know the credit card payment support team is getting wiped out completely. It's going to be full automated. Members are going to HATE this and I know I am going to be submitting grievances up the A-S after 7/31/2025. THANKS UHC. Just stacking job after job on me with no raise in sight. I'm now fu--ing doing like 30 jobs.
Optum or United departments?
