Idk why I just find it annoying when they go around with the snack cart. It’s just all so fake, quick photo op like look at me I’m handing out snacks lol.

Reminds me of those Koi ponds at Disney where you put a quarter in the machine and get a handful of pellets to toss in and enjoy the feeding frenzy of the captive overcrowded goldfish.

'Snack delivery person' to self: "Oh, we have a resistor, tell HR to label this employee as not collaborative and put him in the ''difficult to deal with list' and subject to layoff' - oh, I'm so good at my job..." (internal ego smiles)
'Snack delivery person' to employee: "Oh, good for you, I sooo luuuv it, keeping yourself healthy, I should look into that too, have a lovely rest of the afternoon" (external fake smile and moves to the next one, they are just numbers)
Yep, the out of touch HR "experts" with a PhD that think they know "psychology" and people... HR is one of the most useless departments in history.
They would send you to meditate and do yoga to "calm yourself" and then pat themselves on the back for being so "compassionate".
Just know when these leaders decide to parade around with a snack cart at HQ, there's some dipsh*t chief of staff recommending this as a good idea and way to "rally the troops." REality is they are doing it in middle of afternoon to see if everyone is still in office and make note of those who are not.

Last time we got snacks was 2 years ago. It was a granola bar and a bag of popcorn. Yay team. Seriously I’d be happy having some snacks.
