IFP = individual and family plan. Also known as ACA marketplace or Exchange
They have notified impacted people that their jobs will be eliminated at the end of the year, but they are not offering severance. HR is providing extensive assistance with finding another job internally.
Nor just IFP, with the lack of funding for Medicaid, the lawsuits, the PBM fiacos and Medicare markets shrinking, if you support any of that work, your job is at risk.
I'm not sure if it's related specifically to IFP, but have heard from a reliable source they are in fact planning for a round of layoffs right now.
