Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Joplin MO center

Anyone know what is going on with the JOMO center? Rumor is the entire building has been sold….anyone know if that’s true and what the company is going to do with everyone there?

Heard the hospital bought it and construction is planned to turn it into a training center for nurses. Center has less than 45 people unlikely they will continue to keep a location in the town. Will do similar to what they did in GSO and offer reps to follow work to another center far enough away that they will decline. Mgrs tied to the center will be surplus mgrs there not tied to center will be RTO to Dallas or Atl. Lease was up in Dec anyway. Union will be notified 60 days prior to closing. No WARN notice as entire center is under 50 people.

Every building is being sold then leased back. Pulling every penny out of the business that they can.
