I’ve had solid leaders in the past who earned our respect and made hard decisions with integrity. What we have now are people with titles and absolutely no clue how to lead. They manage spreadsheets, not people. Calling them leaders feels like an insult to the word.

People don’t leave their jobs! They leave terrible managers who don’t have leadership qualities! If your team celebrates the days that you are on PTO or out of the office then YOU are the problem!
Having good leaders use to be the goal! Those good leaders created winning teams and added value. Good leaders were the ones that you looked up to with admiration! There are still a handful of great leaders. If you don’t have this in your “boss” then you should look to others as mentors to grow.
Today’s leaders didn’t earn it
OP - you think you had good leaders at Nike because you were their bit** and in return they took care of you regardless of your skills or delivery.
You are unhappy with current leaders because they moved on from you and got new ones.
