@ad oh don’t worry it is but it’s nothing illegal. Just a sh---y comment that implied it. I just find it funny that anyone with a brain would even hint at that while discussing pulse.
We know upper management comes down on middle management about pulse even though pulse has very little to do with things that my direct manager has the power to influence
Every year we have to sit through pulse action meetings instead of doing something useful
Is it that hard to be professional and just mention it and ask about it instead of doing this toxic passive aggressive bs?
Like for real just based on that I have half a mind to just tank my pulse and I usually don’t even care. I normally just give an average rating, something akin to a 4 star and just fill it with bs they want to hear unless there is something crazy going on.
This is one of the most toxic things. The power plays they try all the time are not only demoralizing but all around unhelpful. They need a training on things not to say. Albeit, saying that 'maybe' this isn't the job for you may also be slightly illegal. Document each case and then when they get a big head again use it to drop them like a sack of potatoes.
