The HPU percentage take rate has my managers preventing reps from accessing accounts due to being scared about the percentage. I cant get in to scrub accounts for sales opportunities due to them being scared about a percentage .etrix that does not matter. Fix it so I can do my job.

Just start pulling accounts. Who is really going to complain when you’re actually doing your job? Then if they do, contact compliance. We all know who’s gaming the system when you’re at 15 upgrades as a district with a 120% PU TR while others are 30+ HPU running a 25%.
It’s all about filling your sales bucket and if anyone tells you to dodge accounts, you have full right to contact compliance.
They always manage metrics instead of volume. Same d-mb game Verizon has always played. They never learn.
More selling with integrity here at big red. Explains some of AS results.
Fake news. HPU isn't even on your PA @e8+1k0d0d2ng you can't get written up or in any sort of trouble for it. Sure you can get put on a call but not in any sort of trouble.
High priority upgrades metric was designed for the company as another way to get rid of sales reps at the retail level, aka cutting costs
we were specifically told to triage accounts before we went in them. And, I have had multiple customer interactions lately where other local corp stores refused to enter accounts because they saw the banner and it was an activation failure or tech issue. They told customers to call care and refused to enter the account. I had an escalation yesterday where a lady was given a sim card and told to call care to activate it. she came into my store to activate because her phone does not work. you guessed it... prio
yup. It's always stupid when the company puts the sales people in this predicament. Same thing happened when VHI blue banners came out. If they could only see how much money is being lost and how many customers are getting the bad end of the stick. They are prob losing more customers then they are saving with the HPU stress. However that's just part of this job you have to deal with. Being asked to do d-mb stuff and being ok with it. As long as the pay check clears..
