Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Flex office Work

I have a feeling that once all the network locations are set and relocations are completed, flex office work will return.

The pendulum is about to swing anyways so ATT better move fast or lose the best talent

@a3 all the people who don’t like being treated like toddlers and who have enough talent to work at a quality company.

While we have been arguing over our effectiveness working from home, tmobile launched Starlink service maybe we could not have done this even if we all working on one office together. But we just proved that we cannot do it working the way we do today.

Wishful thinking. RTO is here to stay. There is a whole lot of business reasons for it.

@ac Leggs org is 5 days/8 hours a day with no exceptions.

@b2
I am in Leggs org and I have been sc--wed to the extreme. I have had to use vacation days to be home for a few home repairs. Repair windows are usually 3-5 hours. Zero tolerance for working anywhere other than HQ. And I sit in a flex cube. Different seat every day.

Great post.

It’s already begun.

My org was advised last week that we can now work from home on the weekends.

We are 24/7/365 org.

We are all sick of this attitude!

If you think the company cares about keeping good talent, I have a bridge to sell you! Expenses, expenses, expenses!

They only do flex on the favorites. Like Jeremy Leggs org.

That's for sure. While workers are being crammed into not even cubes with no set space assignments, now even directors in Legg org are being given private offices. And the higher ups in Legg like Jason Hamilton are being given a new invented hub in Charlotte where they just so happen to be from to move back home to.

Pendulum is actually a sledgehammer to kick your rear out the door.

They will quietly implement flex again, but it will be a while. Just the other day I was on a call with leadership (many L3, L4, L5) and most were working from home. I kid you not. Yet we better not even ask because it’s an instant no.

They will not do flex on orgs that has a lot boomers they want gone. Leggs team had been instructed to work 1 flex day because he is Legg. Come every Thurs and Fri to Alpharetta, its a ghost town. They only do flex on the favorites. Like Jeremy Leggs org.

They don’t care who leaves. They’ll watch the company crash and burn if it means pleasing shareholders. They’re playing politics and will regret how they betrayed their employees
