Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

After 18 miserable months here, I've researched alternatives

Big companies are all the same, midsize firms value experience more and startups offer equity (but also risk). Public sector used to provide stability but that's now gone. Nothing is ideal but I'm going to focus on startups. I'm still young enough to be able to start again if it all goes to he-l. I just wanted to let you know there are alternatives if you're as miserable here as I am.

@mp I noticed most people at Fiserv specifically from internships are really into their comfort zone.

They deserve to find a new opportunity and learn how much different it will be.

You should try to get into the consulting business. You did a lot of research and are informing us of facts that we have known for years! If you are young get out of your comfort zone and take some risks. If not you will regret it when you reach the silver ceiling of ageism, which I believe is now 40’
