Enjoy the profits all

The latest figures I can find were from 2022. It states they have a reserve of shares, up to 60 million. And that in 2022 they issued 2 million of them for the ESPP.
Does anyone know where the shares come from for CVS? There's three possibilities and I'm not sure which one CVS does.
- Newly issued shares, issued for the purpose of this. In this case, it's all profit for CVS.
- Treasury shares that CVS already owns. In this case, CVS may or may not be taking a loss.
- Open market - so CVS purchases them on the open market for this. In this case, they'd be taking a decent loss, and the conspiracy theorist in me makes me wonder if they've got some bad news to announce that is going to drop the stock price, and they are waiting for that so that they can purchase the shares cheaper.
I called and the person that was helping put in a case to see what’s going on. SMH.
He also stated something about the holiday we just went through and I ask how would you explain the previous year. Nothing.
Idk what is taking so long. The stock has been going down every day since 6/30!
I was told last year it was supposed to be credited 1st paycheck after the close.
That would put it today, the 15th….as of right now hasn’t shown up.
Still waiting. From past experience, I fully expected it to come Friday - 10 business days after.
Frustrated to wait because the stock price just keeps going lower...
But I am sure glad I participated. I believe the stock buy price would be $38.90 (adjusted close on 1/2/25). So at the current price now that's still a $25+ gain per share.
Still waiting on mine, I believe it takes 3-4 weeks
