I keep a close eye on the positions and locations they're for on workday and lately India has been really poppin. Similar titles to the US and for AI/data related positions. Personally I believe hiring in India is a national security risk. I always hang up when I get one on the phone any time I call any kind of customer service.

“Hard to accept but India workers at better workers than American workers.”
Hard to accept because it’s a blatant lie. Your beloved Indians just do the work for a fraction of the price…and quality.
Hard to accept but India workers at better workers than American workers.
“ All companies are hiring massively in India.”
BS! Even if that was true, it surely doesn’t make it right. If these d1rtb@9 “Americans” corporations are getting tax incentives here, then they should NOT be allowed to outsource or insource by law. Those treasonous sl1me in DC are supposed to represent “We The People” not avaricious corporations or foreign usurpers!
Most companies are global and they hire globally where skills and talent are readily available. It usually costs employers to offshore. Your nationality or race alone doesn't make you entitled for these jobs. All companies are hiring massively in India.
Saw the same today in workday. 90% of the suggested positions for me were in India. RTOs final form is unfolding.
Sometimes I hear chickens in the background when I talk to them.
“ OP's veiled racism is the only threat.”
Enough with that tired, overused canard. Czech Republic is majority White & we don’t want American jobs shipped there either!
Not to worry, the current A.I. agents that are in the preliminary stages will have all of India out of a job in another 12 months.
When I get customer service from India, it is always a much better result than lazy USA workers. USA workers gotta get lazy out of it's culture.
Instead of whining here, complain to your congressperson and tell them good paying jobs are being exported to foreign countries. Do we still have the Israel center for software development? That’s another atrocity.
We can’t bring company devices out of the country due to national security concerns, yet they can offshore full access? No, they shouldn’t get away with offshore and inshoring jobs while laying off thousands of American workers. That is not racism, I don’t care where those jobs go. You layoff American workers, your H1Bs get revoked for your company. Plus you hire external like that all your tax breaks and grants need to go as well. Enough is enough. Everyone should be calling their congressman and senators.
OP's veiled racism is the only threat. What will that person do to further their own agenda?
It’s not just a security risk, it’s a betrayal to America.
I see that for India engineering jobs there are no degree requirements just years of experience. Here they require a bachelor degree at a minimum.
They
Don’t
Care
This is exactly why I have been pointing out that you need to follow your elected leaders on all their social media accounts and call them out for awarding these companies any taxpayer funded contracts. You think calling it out on this stupid message board is going to solve anything ? Follow your representatives threads and call out the H1B's .. These leaders in T are knowingly using forward with their H1B's and off shoring knowing that it ups their chances of even more security breaches.
Outsourcing & insourcing are treasonous to American workers…plain & simple.
Any time a worker isn't behind a controlled access door, it could be a security risk.
As far as the India work is concerned, there would be the same issues, are they behind controlled access? Are cellphones with camera taking pictures in the center, and things like that. They would have to set standards, or service level agreements.
