Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Chandler, AZ Campus

Anyone know what’s happening at the Chandler campus? Last week and this week I noticed a guy walking around with a 360 camera taking pictures of everything, including every individual cubicle, hallways, walkways, lunch room, cafeteria, etc.. At first, my naivety led me to believe this was something corporate is doing to enhance the employee experience. However, after seeing the same guy being let in to secure areas (machine rooms and janitor closets), I wonder if the campus or some of the buildings are going to be put up for lease or sale in the near future. I know Chandler is a “core” site, but with all the recent layoffs across multiple sites, I don’t think it matters anymore. Anyone know if the Chandler campus is set to either further downsize or move its employees to other sites?

It's much more likely that all the other buildings in the Phoenix metro will shut down and all the survivors crammed into Chandler, than any other potential outcome. Someday Chandler will close too, but that's years away. It'll be one of the final hubs.

What's the market demand for office buildings and campuses these days?

None?

Not gonna worry then 😎

I don’t think they will sell, but I had noticed the building across from B I think it’s D is empty on the first and second floor which is pretty spooky. It’s the building directly across from Chandler connections, I did see that there were signs they were closed and saw the second floors furniture being disassembled.

But I do know they are trying to put 40 ev chargers on site and that’s not cheap.

We thought that in MN and Iowa. Chandler isn't Columbus.

They're probably getting an idea of usage, state of the area, etc. 4th floor in B is being "remodeled". Given the age of the various buildings they're in various states of design and furnishings.

I seriously doubt they'd downsize or move. There's the main campus plus the one across the street. If anything they'll restack to jam as many people in as possible.
