Thread regarding CVS layoffs

What is the latest on RTO?

It seems recent town hall hinted about calling employees back to office. Is it true? My entire team is working remotely, and we didn't receive any guidance from management. Did anyone hear anything?

RTO threats are often used here to encourage folks to leave and avoid the company making layoffs. Look at the prior cycles to see the pattern.

It stopped being enforced. Has anyone heard if it's going to be enforced again?

All employees designated as hybrid and remote employees who live within a 25 mile radius of a corporate facility are supposed to be in the office 3 days a week. That’s been the policy for a few years now.

That said, when David took over, they stopped badge tracking and made it pretty clear it would be up to individual leaders on how/if to enforce it.

@bd hate to break it to you, but 2/3 of this company is denying care to turn a profit. Don't know if that work will ever be meaningful.

When everyone you work with is scattered across the country it is stupid for me to drive in to work just to be on the phone for the whole day. Give me meaningful work with a team locally, then sure I’ll come in.
