Thread regarding UnitedHealth Group Inc. layoffs

I’m having the mother of all burnouts

At this point? Let it come. A layoff wouldn’t be a setback, it’d be a full-blown rescue mission. Honestly, if they handed me a box and walked me out tomorrow, I’d probably thank them for the favor.

I totally agree. I hope I’m on the top of this list to be laid off. This job is mentally draining and this company is mentally draining.

I feel they put them on CAP for made up exaggerated reasons I have even seen them do it with fairly new to the position employees. By doing this it saves them money not paying severance and possibly preventing unemployment if the fired employee doesn't bother to fight it. If this happens to you fight it as UHC has a reputation with EDD that is not favorable.

I agree OP but unfortunately it seems more like they are trying to fire people with so many on CAP lately instead of doing layoffs.

This is exactly how I feel. I know the job market is trash right now, but I’m over this company. I wouldn’t even cry if they lay me off. If anything, I’ll thank them.
