There are closing call centers as AI handles tasks better than a bunch of out-sourced mo--ns who can barely speak English.
The India call centers will be replaced with A.I. agents soon enough. watch and see.
why not they don't care about their customers might as well

Need to get rid of HR, too. Absolutely useless and everyone of them is borderline sociopaths at best.
jealous of better pay & job security? surplus them, not me. focus on C-suite with the millions in tax free stock options & millions in pay.
However the title should be "customer Information center" as upper mgt controls what they can do & expects a low AHT. Sure you can get done in under 3 minutes, but unhappy customers complain for the first 2 minutes. Don't allow divide & conquer distract you.

Call centers have been and are continually being surplussed!
Never knew we had a customer service center! I know from COR retail when we call on we get Peggy speaks a script and can only say “I so sorry”!

At the T, there is no such thing as Customer Service.
They think that THEY ARE THE ONLY PHONE COMPANY IN TOWN AND BY JIMMY THEY ARE GOING TO ACT LIKE IT.
They already did, they laid off all the American workers over the last 20 years and sent them to India. Now they are bringing them back state side via H1B's.
