Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

CIT Florida

What is the big thing that is coming to CIT? The new buzzwords are change management which was the same kind of talk before RAM scr ew ed us over. Are we looking at layoffs or what?

Is this CIT on Centerwell side or insurance side? CIT on insurance side is a pretty well oiled machine, with good leadership so I’m assuming this is Centerwell, not humana insurance central intake?

@OP I wish they would hire people with collab or primary care experience vs friends or what sounds good. Exhausting reteaching and reviewing every 6 months with turnover. Just "RIF" the bandaid off...we all feel it. Funny no pay increases for us lemmings who stay.... but made up job titles and constant external hires.

Yes there has been a plan for a while now to shuffle some people around and get rid of others. I am not a "leader" but I'm in a position to know that CIT is just nuts- how CIT has been treated by their own leaders as well as clinic staff is beyond imaginable. The system set them up to fail and for the clinics to look down on them. There is a revolving door of leaders, advisors, specialist, or whatever they are called and each one seems to make it even worse. Who is getting let go, I have no idea but something huge is around the corner.

@bt a reorganization is coming and an entire layer of leadership will be gone, the directors. CIT will have a much larger in-person work responsibility and the clinic leadership will have more control over CIT.

@OP like each cycle of cuts justified by incorrect data it will follow a vague tonedeaf townhall promising long term success with required sacrifices then the repeated tweaked workflow that repeats something from 18 months previous and calls it new and improved. What cit has tolerated as the constant scapegoat with no collaborative leadership is toxic. FL is no different than the rest of the country but I would like to hear what is known so we can prepare.
