That’s why I work in govt , even with layoffs that it is a milli fraction of the millions employed in govt and a milli fraction of the contractors .
No one will lose in dc metro or working for us govt. plus foreign nationals are not allowed to work in this institution to support America , USA best country in the world
If you burn the flag I believe they made this a crime many are the foreign national cults and gangs committing these crimes. If they hate America they need to leave

Truly too bad some of us “fat-_ss long timers” (sic) don’t have the choice on who gets selected for packages. Honestly after this many years, I’d take it. But don’t blame those that laid the golden brick roads that you walk on, we’re hard workers for the most part - just a little tired, but still adding value

You're mentality and fearful attitude is exactly how and why corporations hold you lemmings in the dark. I will and do openly discuss my salary and any other work related aspect with anyone at work. It can only help to put you or me in a position of power with the employer.
"Technology" is a broad, over used term at Wells. I am sure some BSC in CCIBT believes they are the Tip of the Technology spear. Defining anything else is the only way to make the details applicable to the rest of us su-kers left here.
Good luck! Enjoy your severance but don't wait too long to start applying. It is a really, really tough job market right now especially if you only have "Wells Fargo" skills.

Sorry to hear that. One thing that stuck in my mind that someone once told me when I got laid off of work was.. "Your job doesnt define who you are".
You will find something better and be way happier. Trust me.
