This company is such a joke. They’ve disrupted so many people’s lives by forcing them to move to hub locations, still laid off ppl and now ultra tracking time in office. MEANWHILE, if a team need a new person, they can post the job for India. They made a huge deal for in office collaboration just to slap everybody in the face to allow WFH from an international employee. We look d-mb af.

You don’t have to. Another reason for requiring in office is when you are on the company’s property, using the company’s assets and the company’s network, they can monitor every single thing you do. Silently monitor your calls, meetings, run software that records your actions, keystrokes, coding, everything. Then they can get Tech Mahindra to build AI models based on what you already do. They can’t eavesdrop on you that hard when you are home (legally), and also in states where it is one party consent, which explains all the hubbub about hubs.
The goal is to eliminate you, eliminate your position, and if they can’t, offshore it. Once you understand what’s happening, then you can manage your expectations.
Don’t train your replacement. When dealing with offshore, inshored, give them as little as possible. I’m not hating on them, they just want to make a bigger check just like we do, I’m just not helping to eliminate jobs here.
