Not sure what's going on, maybe I'm burnt out, maybe I'm finally buckling under the pressure of constantly having things added to my plate, but I keep making mistakes I never would have made before. I feel like I'm putting a layoff target on my back with it but it keeps happening. I'm trying to push through, but it's getting harder to believe things will turn around. If the job market was any better, I'd be on my way out, but as it is, I'm stuck.

Stop letting people give you more work. Instead, tell your boss what work you have and force them to prioritize. Get done what you can get done in a reasonable amount of time, and do that well. Everyone has a limit. If your boss thinks otherwise, post out.

That is a LOT of downvoting.
Someone must be pi---d at something in here.

It is a bot the Dallas folks have put to work to make the voting on every post 0, and not a very impressive piece of code. They are too d-mb to know that this actually just drives this forum higher on search results because of all the bot engagement, resulting in more people learning what a horrible company AT&T is.
Put a better movie on your phone. It passes the time.
Maybe you have brain fog from the vaccine that they forced you to take?

Why do they want this thread to be deleted?”
It’s some l-wlife corp k1$$@$$. Hopefully, he catches the “business end” of a northbound semi or locomotive.

Your Pager??
I’m a CO tech. I have nine locations. I am covering a large geographical area. Covering what was until recently covered by three techs. Still employed so not a ton of complaints, but I just can’t get the work done as I always had before. And I catch myself making mistakes. Even when driving. There are days when my pager goes off twenty times. But I still have a job.
That’s happened at lots of job. When the economy lags, they all try to do more with less, replace humans with automation, and micromanage with metrics that are designed to cause layoffs.
OP-
Many, if honest, can relate to your feelings, DAILY!
Time to get a job more your skill level - flipping burgers, Walmart greeter.
OP, you were probably a mistake in the hiring process. I suspect you've drawn the short straw many times in your life. Time to face the fact that it isn't AT&T, it's you.
@ak I have nothing saved.
They want you to be miserable and quit. Do 40 reasonable hours of work and walk away. You working yourself to death in the face of poor management is not helping you, the stockholders or the rest of us one bit. They only care where you sit, so sit there.
“ maybe I'm burnt out”
How long have you been working? Do you have anything saved?
Trying taking some time off if you can afford it. Don’t quit though. Try for some kind of leave.
Make employees happy to be employed; they work harder. Mistakes happen with a 65+ hour week. Does T want it fast or free (unpaid time).
That’s the exact outcome these “dark triaders” are aiming to achieve. They relish in the nosediving morale, regardless of their lies to the contrary.
