I got laid off last year and was telling people at my new job that if you search any topic (like “Stankey Rules”) on AT&T Insider that PowerPoints, articles and other docs created on SharePoint would appear, even if the employee left the business. Before I left I found a Jeremy Legg PowerPoint with Stankisms like no PowerPoints.

If they are on ATT Insider and any one can access then it is a non-issue. If proprietary then they should lock the document with passcode.
I used to search for old marketing PowerPoint decks like Q1 Ops Review or Town Hall. Then I’d download a copy and update the slides and use them on my projects. I remember using the ones tagged ATUID Left Business mm/yy. Saved me tons of time.

No, because any document you open is shared with your colleagues. It's the little blurb in the trending section that says something along the lines of "so and so opened X document".
The most popular one is the presence report. However, I do often see people opening other documents.
