Why are you here then, you id--t? If you’re embarrassed, do something about it. Get the he-l out of here and improve the general climate.
@s2
It's a bot I could have written in 30 mins but I am sure we paid Mahindra 6 figures to produce. It is much easier to just reduce the voting to 0 than to discern whether each post is pro-Stankey or not.
@s2 "For the cache clearing vote neutralizer, you’re a gelded, soulless vassal. What I would give for five minutes alone with the likes of you."
It's the same loser that gets uptight that people run to Costco for a 1.50 hotdog. You know the micro manager that thinks every employee should be chained to his/her desk.

yes, i am now. Before I was Glad, now I do not wear anything with AT&T on it or my badge out in public. this company out sourced all of my units work and we will sit days with no work. granted it is easy work but at 62 I will not be considered for any other jobs. so I stay and hope for a buy out. and i am not able to help the upset consumers with their billing and service issues. so i stay silent and wait. And I am glad that my parents who were so happy that i got hired by AT&T are now passed on and can not see what a joke this company has become with all their greed.
I am!
I can't wait for my buyout offer to walk away with another $150k in my pocket + pension + retiree healthcare.
I'm so glad I didn't make the demotion to management.
What??
Per the "experts" that kind of offer will never happen. Yet it has.
Alas, to the "managers" our severance check would suggest otherwise.
Enjoy your enhanced severance, The Union offers some benefits.

There once was a day -- a long long time ago -- when I beamed with pride.
Now I despise this company & my job.
Clearly you should just leave the company and find something more suitable to your lack of skills.
I used to be 20 years ago. Then the company got Randell Lynn Stephnson the "accountant" with no technical background to run a telecommunications company. He was sent packing after MULTIPLE follies. Then whe were blessed with the genius of John "the smartest guy in any room" Stankey.
So no. I don't like being accosted in public when one finds out I work for AT&T.
35 years. I’m embarrassed that I actually believed I would have retiree medical and earned vacation. Don’t forget my lifetime free home phone line. Ha! Passed on good opportunities over the years, only to fall for the okie doke. I know they are w 3 t dreaming about getting their hands on my pension annuity funds.
It’s not just you. I’m embarrassed you work at the company too.
It's one thing to be embarrassed , it's another thing to do something about it.. I routinely tell friends and family to NOT do any kind of business with T . T makes it EASY to point out the over price products or all the data breaches or the fact that if you ever need help, that you will be transferred to an India call center.. They make it easy to reverse sell their product.
“ We make communication go.”
…down the tubes.
I tell people I work at roto router la
@b5
Totally true.
Just You!
I don't tell anyone because I don't want to hear all the complaining about service and billing. Or get asked if I can get them a free phone. Besides, where I work is not who I am.
@ae That is the problem, HRBP didn’t check the facts properly before taking any action, and supervisors and directors also didn’t tell them.
“Then why do you stay?”
Job market is terrible at the moment and haven’t found anything just yet. When that worm turns, it’s going to be a mass exodus from here by the younger and mid level talent.
Just wait until the survey results come out… oh right, they are going to be so bad they won’t release those either.
We make communication go.

There have been no cases of this.

I love it, meaning that I love that I resigned way back.
It’s not just you. I am also embarrassed that you work here!
Not embarassed. Just happy that I am within 9 months of retirement or severance, whichever comes first!
