So what’s the real deal after today’s meeting saying UM is being centralized? I feel they know more and are not telling us.

@1jd head games and mind f@$! Typical tactics to get worker bees to quit so they don’t have to pay a severance package. Humana is so top heavy with 1000s of Directors and above that could not execute or implement a darn thing. There’s one particular VP level leader in clinical ops that is d-mb as a box of rocks and doesn’t even create her own presentations!! Chews gum, plays with her long blond hair, falls asleep on Town Halls and has bamboozled her way to VP in a few years. Such rubbish!!
@1j1 Not the first time some reorg news is announced, then you need to wait for a very long time to find out what, and how you're impacted. Testing of patience and loyalty.
@1cc that’s when they said we would know more
@1cc end of fiscal year??? Maybe
@13n Why mid-August?
This is total bullsh-t treat people this way
I’m sure they know more and already know how many spots vs people are available. We just have to wait until mid August to find out more.
@wa All Medicare markets that process UM.
@td Can you say more? Which market teams?
@f8 that is actually great news for us in CIT. Our directors are spineless mo--ns.
Surprised there’s not more out here about this. People are pretty shook up. Consolidation and centralization always results in job losses. This Fall, the markets are going to see a drastic change and those that weren’t impacted before will probably be singing the blues later.
@g1 most likely utilization management
@g1 Utilization Management
What does UM stand for please?
This has been in the works for years. Markets and CIT/Clin Ops will be merged and there will be very few directors left. Good for Humana but not good for the rest of us.
I work in UM, on the admin side, and I fear it’s bad. We were called into 3 meetings today discussing the same nothing “maximizing member experience, blah blah blah” and they never once mentioned layoffs. Instead of telling us verbally we had to discover it on the UM centralization FAQ page, total BS. Get your resumes in order!!!
Fearful they might be a mass layoff
