It feels like I’m carrying a ton of bricks. There’s only so long a person can endure the toxicity, the crushing workload, and the constant lack of appreciation before it starts to wear down both your mind and body. What’s the point? Hard work stopped paying off a long time ago. Many of us want to be diligent. We want to take responsibility, do our jobs well, and feel a sense of accomplishment. But eventually, you realize it’s not just thankless - it’s harmful. It takes a real toll on your health. Apparently, having a workforce that’s desperate, demoralized, and compliant is more important than actual performance.

There's anyone who does their job well at Fiserv?
Totally understand. It's demoralizing.
It’s not just thankless. It’s gotten to the point where it’s almost impossible to do a “good job” or feel any sense of accomplishment. Roadblock after roadblock. It is truly exhausting!
Beware that prioritizing your physical and mental health will be called out and penalized.
I've witnessed it many many times now.
Hang in there. It’s ok to prioritize your health (physical and mental).
