I’ll just wait patiently to be laid off, and collect whatever severance comes my way. Sc--w this place.

@e1 Good strategy. Quality work is rare. Company doesn't need to waste resources on guaranteed garbage all the time and AI slop.
They can unload contractor without notice of any kind at any time. There is the door. Leave
The days of severance seem to be gone. Moving workers to contract positions is the wave of the future. If they don't like the quality of your work, they just won't rehire you for future projects. I have friends who are contractors and must apply for their next assignment in advance. If you aren't chosen, you are no longer under contract.
If you haven't dusted off your resume get to it.
@c2 Fiserv doesn't make such moves without CYA (cover your A$$) plans in place.
I'm hoping I get transferred to the New York Yankees. They sound like a winning team. Maybe Fiserv can trade me for a short stop or and outfielder. Oh wait, we aren't baseball players to be traded between teams.
I wished to be laid off but instead I’m in the group being “transferred” to Infinite. Hoping it is not worse.
@a6 how is that legal
Good luck on getting any severance - 400+ of us in the last week are being forced transfer to Infinite and the FAQ says we are "voluntarily resigning" if we don't take the transferred positions with significant benefit losses or cost increases plus kiss any unvested stock grants goodbye.
Horrible, horrible company, HR and upper management. These are some sick people running the company anymore.
Do yourself a favor and find a new job now like I'm starting to do and not burn up wasting any more of your life at Fiserv. It's just not worth it.
21 years and they were going to lay me off but decided to make me a contractor. Zero severance. I left for another job.
