They run our DL quarterly, background checks every year and run our credit. Follow gps on trucks, follow our phones. I get the DL check and the background since so many people are insane. But I feel owned.

@OP Running your credit seems like a personal violation! Houston systems techs challenged having to show DL’s by govt and other businesses that required them and won. That was at least 10 yrs ago so not sure about now. GPS has been followed for a good 15 years. Now it’s card swipes into offices.
Another safety measure is being implemented soon, gps tracking chip inserted in your body. You are a valuable asset and matter, we wouldn’t want you to trip, pass out and fall down without getting you help. Safety always trumps privacy and personal rights an excuse to control the masses. Remember Covid Lockdowns.
GPS in vehicles was sold as a safety measure early on with a button to push if one was in danger. Was stated it wouldn’t be used as a discipline tool but we all knew different and it wasn’t long before the truth came out and they use it for discipline purposes. Don’t believe it? Try braking quickly or take off a little fast to get into traffic, doesn’t matter the reason or situation it’s always a negative for you. Safety hasn’t been mentioned in a decade and the Batman safety button was removed early on. The last few years they implemented the inaccurate driving stats, one time it showed my vehicle driving backwards for miles. How much money has been wasted on this program? Haven’t seen any difference in accidents stats nor do they quote any. Just another expensive brother-in-law system that should be canned, everyone has a cou device that is tracked.
A DL check won’t show a traffic ticket, it can only show if the license is active or suspended. Ask your local cop. If you forgot to put money in the parking meter you could get a ticket for that also, or missing the toll booth lane on the expressway without the prepaid toll pass.

This is just another tool for headcount reduction. Failed to report that traffic ticket? You can be fired without severance and your VP gets a bonus.
