Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Hypocrisy at its finest

Did you know that the Ethics and EEO organizations are designated as full time teleworkers? So the people that are responsible for investigating these RTO issues work from home. Hypocrisy! I looked one up in Webphone and saw that she is designated as Virtual Worker. I looked at her peers and they are also designated that way.

Can’t be in open space offices when discussing ethical matters and investigations

I know someone who was refused an office who regularly deals with non disclosure arrangements. Those who can make exceptions for themselves do. Used to be that some drop in offices were available for anyone vs sitting in open space. Many are now becoming decidated to specific individuals.

This whole company is ripe with hypocracy from those who are terminated for failing to move to those who are given 1x month exceptions to those who are entirely virtual.

“ Found the liberal white woman...probably has blue hair”

Yep, and ate up with tats, cellulite & crazed toxicity.

Can’t be in open space offices

This argument could be made for any employee with access to CPNI, which is pretty much all of management and probably craft too.

@an some are in offices and normally in their own space and many are virtual workers in non hub cities . Reminder that for HR hub cities are only Atlanta and Dallas!

@an “Can’t be in open space offices”
LAME excuse! I am sure corp real estate could configure sound proof booths for them (and put them on the floor with the rest of HR). There is no reason for these jobs to be done virtually.

@an
The only thing you protect is your jobs.
What about all the data breaches and service outages?

Can’t be in open space offices when discussing ethical matters and investigations that are highly sensitive in nature and often result in terminations.

If you look them up in web phone - you would understand why. Mostly women and minorities so it’s okay they can WFH while everybody else to come into the office 5 days a week during core hours !!!

Nice catch! File this under, do as I say, not as I do. Another blaring example of how this company lost its moral compass.

So file an EEOC ethics complaint. And say it is a conflict of interest.
