If I'm at 13% to my target and I go out on Maternity this Sunday .. will I be on PIP when coming back?

No. Just stay out for at least 5 months. If you have vacation time saved up once your leave expires work with HR to use that (if you want) managers have told me you can’t but trust me you can.

You will have your quota adjusted for the 27th through the end of the month for maternity leave but will that put you above the 50% or 80% thresholds? I doubt it. You would come back to a final written warning if under 50%, or a DC if under 80% and above 50%. It wouldn’t be administered during leave but upon your return.

What about if one is on paternity leave?

It has been observed that when a representative's performance is at 13%, the focus of concern should shift from the individual to the management overseeing them. Furthermore, if the representative in question is pregnant, initiating a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) during FMLA-covered leave could lead to significant legal repercussions. Such actions may be perceived as an overreach of power, and any attempt to do so might result in substantial lawsuits.

There's a sentiment that the company, which once prioritized its employees, has now shifted its focus to investors, akin to companies like Intel. Should such a situation arise, legal action would be strongly advised, as remedies would be readily available.

How are you at 13% for the whole month? Yes the 27th is far enough into the month. You would come back to a pip.
