When will Humana clean house. Hard working employees that cover for workers with second jobs, going to their kids events, shopping, all on company time. Half of the current staff could do the job ( which they are doing) while other WAH employees are not working. It's not right, it's not ethical and it should end.

THIS right here folks is a person that calls your home association is you are insane enough to live in one, when your grass is as tall as a man's 5 O'Clock shadow. They probably don't like red meat, they don't like old, loud muscle cars, and they definitely don't like anything that is REAL & GOOD for society. They probably cry when they try to bend the rules, get caught, or try to force feed insane so-call "logic" down societies' throats claiming it's "21st century" stuff.
We have a saying here out west. Git off my lawn. What happens next isn't another ask or demand.
Go back under your rock, stay in your lane, and NEVER catch yourself in front of me, NEVER!
@Op
THAT person that started that first post shaming WAH peeps is an "all about me, wee, wee, wee" type of person. One of "them" if you get my meaning.
@OP Get a clue fool. There are MOST WAH employees that work just as hard, if not harder than you "realize". Get out of "your world" & have some compassion for others that worry. While there are lazy people "everywhere", even outside of this organization, the next time you call customer service for something & get hit with "sludge" tactics, then you can talk about the few that are truly lazy & just following bad management & policy.
The few offenders & cheats that do WAH & do these sorts of things eventually get caught, as this will catch up with anyone when their team starts to notice, but with this organization, it "does" take time to build a case against them, at least so the lawyers aren't busy with wrongful termination cases in court.
Over my career & many decades of experience & exposure to these types of "slackers", it always comes around what they dish out.
I think you are in error just laying blame that all slackers, lazy people, or others possibly doing 2 jobs at once without focusing in on their primary job "here" is inaccurate. It's just as bad with on-prem individuals. Give Humans an inch, and they will take you a mile they say.
YES, this thread is right on the money. I used to have the Sunday scaries too but now it last pretty much all weekend. I'm either anxious and depressed while working or anxious and depressed while thinking of having to work. Leadership is oppressive, punitive, and just overall horrible.
@ca all of the above. I believe people stay because they fear change or because they have been so beat down and undervalued that they don’t think they can find work elsewhere.
@bx Metrics and quality have been out the door since 2022
What a nasty subject!!!! from someone who cares the least about others, assumes the worst of people. I'm sure also treats others the cruelest!! Bullies calling his victims stupidity here!! That's exactly why Humana culture hits rock bottom! People turning into monsters! Clean these people out!!
Posts like this are going to ruin WAH for everyone. That’s a broad statement to make. My dept isn’t like this at all. Honestly Humana gets more work out of me being at home than if I had to go into the office. Plus are you online 24 hours a day?? In my opinion if you’re getting the work done, does it really matter what hours you work as long as you are available for meetings, leaders and or your direct reports?
This post is such rage bait. I WAH and trust that we are held to a higher standard than those in office! Sounds like some cubicle jockey wrote this post out of jealousy. Managers for WAH have impossible work responsibilities so if you have a manager "working a farm" they must be working at night to get Humana work done. Liar, liar, pants on fire!
It feels like there is a huge imbalance between departments. Some are way over capacity while others are going fishing all day….
@c6 Why would people keep doing this and getting away with it?! Is Humana not compensating enough? Minimal incentives? Low morale? Toxic culture?!
There’s a certain associate director whose entire team is lucky to work 6 hours on a good day. Why do you ask? Because TB is running four side businesses in addition to her cush salaried position at Humana. This is a well known fact and has been going on for at least six years. Meanwhile my entire team is working 10 hours a day while our leader and her VP work 7 hours on a good day if they’re in the mood. Humana must clean house or the house will fall.
@OP It's about time Humana cleans house and let people who do not want to work here leave! Time for another round of early retirement and RIF!!
I don’t see how that’s possible when we have metrics. But how are we to know anyone meets them. The more stretch assignments you do, doesn’t seem like you have any to meet.
It's no different than your manager showing green and available on teams but takes a long time to respond since she's out working the farm. Just sayin....
If anything WAH gets double the scrutiny
@OP what depth because that's def not true for wah where I am!
